  • Do I Have to Have a Specific Issue to Seek Therapy?
Not at all! Therapy is a valuable space for personal exploration and self-improvement. You don't need to have a specific problem; you can seek therapy to enhance your overall well-being and gain insights into your life.
  • What Can I Expect Starting Therapy?
The first session is about getting comfortable with the process and getting to know you. You’ll be able to tell me a little more about what you hope to gain from therapy as well as your expectations about the therapeutic process. Sessions typically last around 50 minutes to an hour. The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals, which we will discuss and determine together.
  • How Confidential is Therapy?
Your privacy will always be a top priority. Confidentiality is maintained within the legal and ethical bounds of my profession. You can be rest assured that your personal information is treated with the utmost respect and discretion.
  • Do you accept insurance?
Mindful Communion currently only accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. My billing team can verify your specific insurance benefits to understand your plan’s expected costs/deductibles/co-pays. Private pay is an option for those out-of-network. Please see below.
  • Can I be reimbursed for private pay sessions?
I can provide you with a superbill, which you can then submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. If you'd like to explore that option I suggest that you check with your insurance company to verify the specifics of your coverage and out-of-network reimbursement rates.
